During the Infra 5-Daagse, a group of around one hundred people from the Dutch infrastructure sector set sail across the Wadden Sea on eight clippers.

For five days, participants — many of whom had never met before — explored new ways of thinking and working together. Through conversations, creative sessions such as Lego® Serious Play, and shared experiences on board, connections were formed that lasted well beyond the event itself.

At the end of the journey, the group wrote a joint letter to the children of the world — a symbolic gesture to reflect on responsibility and legacy.

The connections made during this first edition are still very much alive. The group continues to meet, and new participants join.

In 2026, the next edition will take place in Zeeland, with an even larger group of professionals from across the infrastructure sector: clients, contractors, researchers, and independent thinkers.
